Because the only skin I would like to wear is MINE

I am writing in this 21st century,

century of the fast technology and information, but also a century of cruelty that we can no longer ignore.

There are many cruelties we are witnessing in this 21st century, often unconscious or conscious. But what I want to dwell on today, in this little space of my blog concerns the many videos and images released by PETA. For those who didn't know PETA is an organization no-profit for ethical treatments of animals.

This organization has highlighted how the animals are shaking alive to produce bags and other accessories for the big brands,

but the only big brands that I can see is only the brand of suffering.

From their conscious suffering I now turn to our conscience as consumers and I wonder why in my dear 21st century.

The good news is that we are not totally powerless and in our little one, we can stop all this, with the only power that we have: being part of this socio-economic system, and that is "not buying". Because the skin and the suffering of others is not so fashionable and the only skin that we are entitled to wear is ours.

Together we can make it to give voice to those who do not have a voice.
